The UMass Dartmouth Navitas Global Student Success Program (GSSP) is located on campus at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
The Undergraduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP is composed of elements that enable you to successfully complete your UMass Dartmouth undergraduate degree. The Undergraduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP is designed to provide an academic and cultural bridge for you between your high school and a UMass Dartmouth degree. The program is comprised of disciplined for-credit and other courses that, completed with the specified grade point average, will be credited towards degree requirements in your UMass Dartmouth degree.
The Graduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP is a one-semester or two-semester program aimed at international students requiring a bridge to a business or engineering master's degree program in the USA. The Graduate GSP helps to close the gap in the student's English language proficiency, communication skills, and generic research skills while simultaneously earning credits towards their MBA and Master of Science degree programs in Business or Engineering.

Absolutely. As a UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP student you are able to use all services and facilities at UMass Dartmouth including the library, student center's and athletic facilities. You are also able to join UMass Dartmouth student clubs and associations.
What is the advantage of going through the UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP?
The advantages for students are many. Classes are much smaller than the usual university lecture size. UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP students have more class time per class than university which allows more time to understand the course. You also study over three semesters in one calendar year or, if eligible, finish the Undergraduate Navitas GSSP in 2 semesters or 8 months!
What if I need help with my studies?
There are many avenues of help and support throughout your studies at UMass Dartmouth. If you find yourself having difficulty in a course, you should contact your professor and organize a time to meet for consultation.
About the classes
How are classes taught?
Undergraduate students meet 4.5 hours a week per class. All classes are taught from the University curriculum by UMass Dartmouth faculty, but there is additional class time built in for tutorials, group work and individual student support. Graduate classes meet once a week for each subject, typically for 3 hours each class meeting. UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP Teaching Assistants (TA) will also provide additional classroom support for students in particular subjects. There is some variation in this structure according to the nature of the individual units and specific requirements.
What is the maximum number of courses that I can study each semester?
Students typically take four courses each semester.
How many intake dates are there each year?
There are three intakes per year - September, January and May.
