Undergraduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP

To enter the UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP all students must meet both the academic and English language requirements. Full details on all entry requirements can be found below.

Undergraduate academic requirements

This table is a guide only. Meeting the minimum application entry requirements does not guarantee admission. Your complete application will be reviewed to determine if you qualify. Final assessment is based on full GPA evaluation; an equivalent of the minimum entry U.S. GPA and proof of high school completion equivalent in the U.S. are required. Students are required to submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended beyond high school whether seeking to transfer credit or not. ADVANCED PROGRAM: Applicants with an American GPA (equivalent) of 2.7 or higher may be eligible for the UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP 2 semester program. Eligibility will be determined based upon academic assessment and will require a personal interview with the UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP Executive Director upon arrival for final approval.

* GMAT is not required for entry to the Graduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP; however, a GMAT score of 400 is required for progression to the MBA. During the Graduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP GMAT Prep is available to all students at no cost.

English Language Requirements

If you have achieved one of the English test results in the table below, and meet the relevant academic requirement for your country, you will be eligible for the Undergraduate or Graduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP.

†The ESL program provides students with the English language and academic skills to succeed in the Undergraduate UMass Dartmouth Navitas GSSP. The American Language & Cultures Institute (ALCI) at UMass Dartmouth combines preparation for success in a college or university classroom with intensive English study. Students experience a curriculum that focuses on academic study skills, university majors and hands-on coursework. In addition, through our Language & Cultures Studio courses, the ALCI offers further guided English instruction that integrates student excursions, community involvement and travel in New England.
